Services
The Mission provides services to anyone without regard for race,
color, sex, disability, religion or national origin. We are an equal opportunity Mission.
While chapel services and religious counseling services are
offered, attendance is strictly voluntary and is not required for person(s) in our Emergency
Shelter.
Emergency Shelter:
The Gospel Mission provides shelter to the homeless, we are able to
provide 55 beds for men, 8 beds for women, three meals a day, hot showers and clean
clothing.
Womens and Children Shelter:
The Gospel Mission provides shelter to the homeless women and
children, we are able to provide 12 beds for women and children, three meals a day, hot showers and
clean clothing.
Meals:
Meals are served 7 days a week, 3 times a day.
- Breakfast - 6:30 am Monday - Friday and 7:30 am Saturday -Sunday
- Lunch - 12:00 pm (noon)
- Dinner - 5:30pm
Clothing:
Women and children's clothing is available through our Pumpkin
Patch Thrift Store. Men's clothing is available in our main building. All clothing can be made
available to those that are in need at no cost.
- Mens clothing is available for free, Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 11:00 am and on Saturdays
from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
- Vouchers for Womens and Childrens clothing can be obtained Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
from 9:00 am to 12:00 am.
- Womens and Childrens clothing can be purchased from the Pumpkin Patch Thrift Store, Monday
- Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, closed Sunday.
Recovery Program (12 months):
We offer classes to those who want to overcome life controlling
issues, stabilize, and learn to apply new principals in their lines in order to become
self-sufficient. This program is for those that are serious in wanting to make a change.
- Men's Life Recovery Support Group - Mondays from 6:00-7:00 pm
- Understanding Christianity - Tuesdays from 2:00-3:00 pm
- Celebrate Recovery - Wednesdays from 2:00-3:00 pm
- Men's Class - Thursdays from 2:00-3:30 pm
- Life Skills - Fridays from 2:00-3:00 pm
Transitional Housing:
Those that have completed the Recovery Program can apply to stay
longer at the Mission to seek work and find permanent housing.
