What is the Mission?
Klamath Falls Gospel Mission was established in 1958 as an Emergency Shelter for homeless men, women and children.
Our Purpose
Since it's beginning, the purpose of the Gospel Mission has been to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the homeless and needy by means of caring for their emotional, physical and spiritual needs.
Emergency Shelter
The Gospel Mission provides shelter to the homeless, we are able to provide 55 beds for men, 8 beds for women and children, three meals a day, hot showers and clean clothing.
Families in Recovery
Families periodically find themselves in difficult life circumstances that require women and children to seek shelter and community services to rebuild their lives. Families in Recovery is a Klamath Falls Gospel Mission residential program for women and their children in transition.
Our purpose is...
...to support women and their children by means of caring for their physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
...to enhance the skills of parents as they build healthy family relationships.
...to provide stability and safety for families as they work toward their own goals of self-sufficiency. |

You Can Help Our Ministry in Four Ways:
|
Community Resources
The Gospel Mission offers the following to the needy of our community:
- Clothing and housewares for men, women and children on Monday thru Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM .
- Furniture and appliances are available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.
Recovery Program
We offer an in-house recovery program for men and women that covers three levels: to teach Christian ethics, to create a strong work ethic, and to assist in recovery issues. It is a requirement of this program that all participants submit to random and alcohol testing. We work in collaboration with Senior and Disabled Services, Mental Health, Parole & Probation, and Family Services and Services for Children and Families, for comprehensive case management. It is our goal to see the people we minister to empowered by Biblical truths and practical skills to live as productive members of the community.
